Announcing Our 2017 Contest Winners

What Does It Mean To Be A Friend?

Congratulations to our 2017 contest winners!

During Friends of Libraries Week 2017, the Friends held a drawing and writing contest at the library. All entries focused on the theme, "What Does It Mean To Be A Friend?" The drawing contest was for children 10 years old and under and the writing contest for those aged 11 to 17.

It was great to see all the wonderful talent here in the Palmdale community. Amazing, is the best way to describe all the submissions received. It was very difficult to pick our winners; but alas, we did it, we finally made our decisions.
