The Palmdale community and Palmdale City Library has been fortunate to have Thomas Vose as the Library Director for nearly four years. However, Thomas will be leaving this month to become the director of the Ruth Enlow Library in Garrett County Maryland.
With Thomas’ support, the Library has reinstated the very popular Summer Reading Program, of which the Friends are very happy to help support. Children’s reading programs are scheduled as well as programs that are of interest to Teens. Activities and programs of interest to adults have been added as well. Book clubs, craft activities, a knitting and crochet group, and Coffee & Coloring are just some of the great programs available. The Friends are always ready to help support these endeavors.
We will miss Thomas, his enthusiasm, and his great ideas. Please join us in wishing Thomas and his family the very best with their relocation.
